The Product
We use a revolutionary laser teeth whitening treatment, new to the UK. It’s an advanced cosmetic procedure and non-invasive. The treatment is safe and painless and does not harm the tooth enamel nor the gum tissue.
A whitening gel (of legal hydrogen peroxide concentration) is applied to the surface of the teeth and this breaks down into oxygen molecules. These molecules go into the tiny pores of the enamel and dentin and break up the stains that block out the light.

Removing Stains
As the stains are broken into smaller and smaller pieces, more light passes through the teeth and makes them look lighter. Stains which have built up over time, that are yellow to slightly brown produce the best results.
Teeth that are dark brown to blue-grey are the most difficult to bleach because the stain is deeply embedded into the teeth's structure. These types of stains are usually caused by tetracycline (an alternative to antibiotics) and as a result have affected the colour of the tooth; these stains can take a minimum of two laser treatments to achieve good results.

How does it work?
Like most other whitening gels, it contains oxidizing agents that are the key to teeth whitening. The oxidizing agent penetrates the porous element of the tooth enamel and break down stains that block light and cause discolouration. Further treatment allows the oxidizing agents to penetrate into the dentin layer (underneath the tooth enamel) removing deeply embedded stains that have built up over time.
The whitening agent is activated by the use of a LED blue light system in three to four 15 minute slots. After this treatment has been completed, customers would receive short top up sessions every 3-6 months depending on their diet and lifestyle.
